East Central is the neighbourhood east of the Haney downtown core along Dewdney Trunk Road and Lougheed Highway, around Thomas Haney Secondary and the Ridge Meadows Hospital. It mixes condos and townhouses along Lougheed with detached houses on the side streets, and it is the most affordable part of Maple Ridge for a strata home. The Port Haney West Coast Express station is at its southern edge.
