About Main, Vancouver, BC

Main is the east side neighbourhood along Main Street between 16th and 41st avenues, the strip of antique shops, restaurants and cafés that runs south from Mount Pleasant. It is mostly detached character houses on standard lots, many with suites, plus duplexes and small townhouse projects near Main. It is the most expensive detached market on the east side, bought for the street life and the walk to shops rather than for transit, which is a bus.
