About Kitsilano, Vancouver, BC

Kitsilano runs along the south shore of English Bay from Burrard Street to Alma, with Kits Beach and the pool at the water and West 4th and West Broadway as its shopping streets. The housing is a mix the west side rarely offers: older character houses split into suites, three-storey wood-frame condos from the 1970s and 1980s, newer townhouses, and a few larger lots north of 4th. It is the west side's most popular condo neighbourhood and one of the few where a buyer can get a beach lifestyle at a condo price. The Broadway Subway extension, under construction to Arbutus, will add a station at the neighbourhood's edge.
