"Langley" on this site covers two municipalities: the Township of Langley, a large and fast-growing suburb of 132,603 people (2021, up 13.1%), and the small City of Langley at its centre with 28,963 residents. Most of the listings are in Willoughby Heights, the Township's main growth area, where townhouse and condo projects have been going up for twenty years along 200 Street and Willowbrook. Langley City is the older, denser core and will be the end of the Surrey–Langley SkyTrain extension, now under construction, which is already changing what gets built there. Outside those two areas, Langley is detached country: Brookswood and Fernridge with large treed lots, Walnut Grove along the Fraser, Fort Langley with its historic village and riverfront, Murrayville, and Aldergrove in the east with the lowest house prices in the Township. Acreages and hobby farms in the agricultural land reserve make up a share of listings you will not see in most of Metro Vancouver.
